The picture doesn't do it justice. The book is a beautiful, shimmery pumpkin color and it has the special, 50th anniversary logo in the upper right corner. This would be a great addition to the bookcase for families and a lovely gift for children or book collectors.
To enter, simply leave a comment telling me about your favorite children's book. Don't forget to leave your e-mail address so I can contact you if you win. I'll keep the contest open until Tuesday, October 5th. Good luck!

My all time favorite children's book is "The Secret Garden." I think it is well written. As a child, it transported me to a different time, and I could actually feel like I was in the story. I plan to buy one for my daughter's book collection, so she can enjoy it like I have.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite book from my childhood is Raggedy Ann & Andy.

Thanks for entering the contest! I love The Secret Garden, too! My favorite is The Little House series.
ReplyDeleteI love so many children's books... but I think my favorite of all time is There's No Such Thing as a Dragon, by Jack Kent.
ReplyDeleteMy fave book as a little kid was Eat Your Peas Louise...but as I got older I read all of the Babysitter Club books and anxiously awaited the new one every month..
