We're getting down to the wire for Christmas prep. If you're a last minute person, you're probably having a rough couple of days. Even if you've got all the holiday preparations pretty well under control, things still seem to feel very hectic in these last few days before Christmas. Take a few minutes each day to focus on cleaning and decluttering so you don't have to expand a huge effort on Christmas Eve or, worse, Christmas Day before company arrives.
Time for Another General De-clutter and Some Relaxing!
Christmas is getting close, the kids are excited and you’re frazzled! What you really need is to put your feet up for a few minutes. But, before you do, set the timer for 10 minutes and do a whole-house decluttering session. When you’re done, sit back with a cup of tea and relax. If you’ve got to set a timer for that, go ahead, but try to squeeze it in. It can be hard to relax in the days before Christmas, especially if you have children, but it really should be a priority.
15 Minutes to a Sparkling Clean Bathroom
Whether or not you have company coming for the holiday, it’s still important to tackle the bathroom before Christmas. The good thing about cleaning the bathroom is that it really doesn’t take long to make a big impact. Grab some bathroom wipes and wipe down the sink, the counter and the toilet. Swish the toilet bowl with the brush. Sweep or vacuum, empty the trash and take care of any stray toys or reading materials that have found their way in. Wipe the floor quickly with a damp rag and put out fresh towels. Done!
