Decluttering Advent Day 13 - Paying for the Holidays

December 13
Check the Checkbook

We all know that the holiday season can be expensive. Ideally, we would save money ahead of time for Christmas shopping and not have to fret about how we are going to pay for all the gifts, extra food and decorations. But, sometimes, we end up sweating the season a bit financially. Whether or not you are in that position, it’s a good idea to sit down with your checkbook and receipts and update everything to find out where you stand. Then, you'll then be able to set a budget for the remainder of your Christmas shopping that will keep you from going into holiday debt. Photo courtesy of Mconnors at Morguefile.
