Decluttering Advent Day 3 - Clothing

December 3
Donate a Bag of Clothing

Spend 10-15 minutes sorting through clothing in one or two closets. Almost everyone has extra clothing. It's important to make room for new things you might receive this time of year, whether they are likely to be gifts or bargains that you picked up on a shopping trip. Weed out things that haven’t been worn for three or more years. Find all the outgrown children’s clothing that can’t be handed down to a younger sibling. Fill a garbage bag with clothing that’s in good condition and get it out of the house right away. Stick it in the trunk of the car and drop it in a Salvation Army or Goodwill box the next time you’re running errands. Not only are you cleaning out your clutter, but you are passing on items that someone else may need.
