Everyone Can Comment Now

Little People Wealth brought it to my attention that some blog readers were having a hard time leaving comments on my blog. I had no idea there was an issue. It may have been there from the start, over 2 years ago, or it may have started when I enabled comment moderation when I was getting slammed with Asian porn spam. Either way, I adjusted the comments settings. I changed it so everyone, not just registered Google users can comment on my blog (I didn't even know I had this limit set - oops!). This means that anonymous users will be able to comment. I also changed the comment form to a pop-up box instead of an embedded form. I will continue to moderate comments for now, though I may change that in the future and just moderate comments on older posts.

So, if you've tried to comment in the past and weren't able to, give it another try. If you still can't, please e-mail me to let me know so I can try to fix the problem.  Thanks!

If you don't get a lot of comments on your own blog, you may want to check your Blogger comment settings, as well. You may be blocking comments without knowing it! If you need to know how to do that, just e-mail me and I'll help you with it. It was pretty easy once I knew where to go.

  1. Great! I also like your checklist in the last blog that I can download. How do you do that?

  2. Thanks, Carol.

Do you mean how do I create the downloadable file? I use a free service called Keep and Share. You can upload Word or Adobe documents to their site. Then, they give you a link to your document to use in your blog. It's very user-friendly!
