Disaster Proof Your Important Documents

Author and organizing expert, Stacy Crew, posted some valuable tips for storing your important documents on her blog My Organized Lifestyle. We should all have a locked, fireproof box to store things like car titles, bank account numbers and house deeds. I'm putting this on my to-do list. How about you?

  2. And make sure your husband knows where it is! I'm so used to doing the financial stuff that my hubby doesn't really have a handle on it.

  3. Thanks Jaime!

@Gina - That's true for me, too! What a good point you make!

  4. We have had a safe that we keep all of our important stuff in for years--you just never know. Don't forget to keep your professional license in there, too, if you don't need to keep it hanging on a wall somewhere. I am a Registered Nurse at an area hospital, so my employer is able to view my license online. I keep the original locked up. (As with anything, if you lose it, it costs $$ to replace it!)
