BlogHer Presents Artists Way Toolkit Free Trial!

If the Artist's Way Toolkit promotion on BlogHer has grabbed your attention, you may be eager to find out if morning pages, writing prompts and weekly artist's dates are for you. Here's your chance to give it a try for free!

The BLOGHER promo code is up and running for a free trial month. The code BLOGHER must be entered as all caps during registration. After entering the code, you will be taken to a credit card page where you will need to put in credit info. However, there’s a disclaimer on the page saying that, for those with the promo code, they will only see a zero charge on their cards – and they will not be opted in to anything. No recurring charges. Zilch. The system is just set up so that it needs card info, and can’t get around that, even with a free trial.

If you give it a whirl, let me know what you think! Enjoy!

  1. I tried the Artist's Way Toolkit and found it very nonconducive to creativity. Julia Cameron's books are wonderful, but the online kit was very static and needs a lot of work before it would be useful. For example, you create "Creative Notes" to remember ideas, but you can't edit the notes, which is a large part of creativity - the tinkering and refinement of ideas. Also, when you type into the program, all the features of Word that are so helpful - auto-cap, auto correction, paragraph indentation, bulleting/numbering, bold, italic, underline, etc. - are lacking, making it like going back to writing in DOS or something. The package felt a little Cro-Magnon in terms of a useful tool for creativity.
